Everything below is machined from the same pressed block we sell by the sheet. Each one asks something different of the material.
Watch cases and straps

The smallest work we do, and the least forgiving. A case has to hold a movement it did not design, which means the tolerances are set by something else. Cutting from a solid pressed block is what makes that possible — moulding to near-shape does not leave enough control at this size.
Eyewear frames

Fronts and temples are thin, long pieces, and the grain can be placed to run with them or across them. Because the pattern is formed rather than woven, a narrow temple still carries a complete pattern instead of a slice of a repeat.
Knife handles

Scales are shaped to the hand, which means two pieces that need to sit next to each other and look like they belong together. Order them as a pair and we cut them from adjacent positions in one block.
Pens

Small diameter work, where there is very little surface and the pattern has to carry the whole piece. This is the case where choosing the block matters most — there is nowhere for a weak section to hide.
Jewellery

Rings, pendants, and one-off pieces. Usually a single item, usually given, usually the reason someone first asks us what the material is.
Something else
If it can be cut from a block, we can quote it. Send us the shape — a drawing, a sample, or just a dimension.
